"Thanks to the endeavors of IRCS Damghan relief workers, all the earthquake stricken people were provided with emergency sheltering in Damghan city." President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, Dr. Abolhassan Faghih said.
Dr. Faghih stated that relief workers have been set up relief tents and established temporary sheltering in 10 villages of Damghan city and they have reached to all the affected. He visited the epicenter of the earthquake and earthquake stricken areas together with Interior Minister. He went on to say that as per the last assessments, the risk of earthquake and its aftershocks have been reduced and no risks threaten the lives of people in the affected areas.
In fine, Dr. Faghih mentioned that IRCS relief workers are on standby in the scene and reconstruction of damaged houses should be dealth with from now on.
